Travel Weekly Recognized Arrivia’s Online UX & Record-Setting Quarter

The annual Travel Weekly Power List ranks the largest and most successful retailers in the travel industry

Scottsdale, AZ, June 29, 2022 – For the seventh consecutive year, arrivia has been named to the Travel Weekly Power List, an annual ranking of the biggest travel sellers in the US. To capture its fourth top-20 position in as many years, arrivia harnessed the increase in demand in travel bookings and points redemption throughout 2021 to report $700 million in sales, while hiring more than 1,000 team members worldwide. As a leading provider of travel loyalty, booking, and marketing solutions to consumer-facing companies, arrivia made number 17 on the 2022 Power List, one spot higher than 2021.

Travel Weekly recognized arrivia for delivering expanded online and offline servicing capabilities during the travel rebound, especially around its points-redemption technology, a key aspect for many of the two-thirds of Americans who planned to travel in late 2021. Additionally, arrivia was praised by Travel Weekly for adding breadth and depth to travel loyalty product lines and for launching a lead-management tool to enable increased call center productivity levels.

“We’re honored to be recognized by Travel Weekly for the seventh year in a row, and to again see our company listed alongside some of the most illustrious names in travel” said Mike Nelson, Chief Executive Officer of arrivia. “The composition of this year’s Power List suggests that value, exceptional service, and customer-centric strategies continue to be the engines of successful travel companies. And that’s reflected in our ongoing commitment to helping our clients provide their customers with a wide-array of travel benefits, personalized offers and exclusive pricing.”

Travel Weekly also highlighted arrivia’s investments in data segmentation and marketing automation, which powered a product-personalization program to deliver content to consumers based on their online and offline behavior and transactional activity. These strategic moves helped the company register a record-setting first quarter, adding new clients weekly while increasing engagement metrics across all areas of the business.

With leisure travel getting back to pre-Covid levels and demand expected to continue soaring through 2023, arrivia invested heavily in its workforce, welcoming more than 1,000 new team members throughout 2021. “Our team is the main reason behind our success and the sustained ability to meet our client’s high standards,” continued Nelson. “We will continue providing our employees with the tools and support to thrive in this unique industry.”
